Today Jamie B was working in Glencoe and took Lindsey up Ordinary Route (III/IV,4***). Guy and Tom were also in the area and climbed Dorsal Arete Chimney Variant (IV,5*). This was Toms second winter climb and he scored well as he led one of the pitches on Dorsal Arete. The day was getting milder by the hour and by around 3pm, the rain had come in and it became quite warm. After finishing their route, Tom and Guy descended Broad Gully which was firm underfoot, with a light dusting of snow on top but gradually getting wetter and rather sticky! Guy, Tom, Jamie and Lindsey all happened to meet in the Coire and descended the hill together, great day to be climbing, even better day to be working and climbing!
