Winter Skills, Monday 15th Jan

Jamie B and Matt (with Henry and Will observing) took a group of Lochaber College students to Coire an t-Sneachda in the Cairngorms to look at safe movement, including axe and crampon practice, navigation and snow awareness. The snow had consolidated appreciably after the weekend thaw, but there was plenty of fresh stuff making the buttresses look nice and white; a few teams were seen climbing. No photos unfortunately as JB's camera took a groundfall on Aonach Beag on Saturday!
